Master of Science in Airline Management

The Master of Science in Airline Management (MSALM) is a practitioner-focused program for graduates and leaders, designed around airline managers who oversee functional areas including pricing and revenue management, risk management, technical operations, airport relationships and route planning. Students are taught through a unique lens to contribute to the key areas of successful airline operations: safety, reliability and profitability.
The MSALM explores airline business models with hands-on experiences embedded throughout the program. Courses are industry-aligned with a high focus on modern issues in airline management, including sustainability, disruption management, increasing regulations and the need for agile networks. The curriculum provides an understanding that is applicable to real-world airline management, setting graduates apart in a field where specialized knowledge is scarce.

All graduate applicants who have any educational experience outside the United States are required to provide an official course-by-course evaluation to include the cumulative grade point average. The evaluation must be certified by one of the Foreign Credential Evaluation Services (FCE) approved by Embry‑Riddle. A fee is charged for the service and must be paid by the applicant directly to the FCE.

If a student has graduate-level work (either transfer or advanced standing) that is indicated on the foreign credential evaluation as meeting the requirements for an undergraduate degree, it will not be reviewed for applicability toward an Embry‑Riddle graduate degree.

Educational systems differ country by country. Foreign Credential Evaluation Services are well versed in providing a comparison of a country’s education system to that of the United States system. This comparison includes education levels, credits and grades.
