Pre-sessional English Language (Online) - 9 weeks

Our Pre-sessional English programmes are currently being offered online only, due to ongoing restrictions related to the Covid-19. We will not be providing any face to face teaching at Goldsmiths for the 12-week, 9-week and 6-week Pre-sessional programmes. The programme content remains the same as is described on our programme page. It will be delivered by the same highly qualified, experienced teachers who would have been delivering the face to face programme. Our main goal is to ensure you receive an excellent pre-sessional experience that prepares you for your Goldsmiths programme.

Our pre-sessional programmes are intensive and you will have to commit to studying full-time. The programmes all follow a weekly timetable of 21 hours of online learning, consisting of:

Teacher-led lessons in groups of up to 16 students
A series of lectures which take place during the programme covering some key themes generic to most Goldsmiths disciplines
Interactive tasks to be completed either in study groups or individually online
A weekly meeting with your teacher either in small groups or on an individual basis
