Pre-Senior (Year 9)

The Haileybury program is tailored to suit each student’s educational stage and builds resilient, independent learners with a strong work ethic and critical skills in decision-making, leadership and enterprise.
Students leave Haileybury as well-rounded young citizens with a love for learning, who are prepared for life on the global stage and who possess a drive to do more for society.
Haileybury Pre-Senior School provides a unique and highly beneficial program that supports the transition from Middle to Senior School. Students continue to develop their knowledge and skills through a comprehensive curriculum with a strong academic focus.

Where appropriate, single gender classes continue, and boys and girls have separate study and recreation areas. These are complemented by shared community spaces that foster social development and strengthen personal character as students prepare for life beyond school.
