MSc Information Technology (Business)

Our MSc in Information Technology (Business) offers analytical, practical, and theoretical courses that integrate the study of business management and software engineering. These courses encompass the design and development of IT systems, data and IT management, business organization and strategy, project leadership, and e-commerce. The programme does not emphasize computer programming; instead, it aims to cultivate graduates with well-developed analytical and project management skills, enabling them to be effective communicators and managers who work as intermediaries between software developers and business strategists. Graduates of the programme would be well-suited for employment in tech companies, company R&D divisions, financial services organizations, defence contractors, government agencies, or they could opt to pursue a Ph.D.

A minimum of a 2:2 honours degree or non-UK equivalent in a subject which includes knowledge of Computing and IT. Programming skills would be preferable but not essential, either through your degree or a short course.
