INTO Illinois State works in partnership with Illinois State University to provide high-quality university preparation programs for international students. Its Academic English, International Year One, and Graduate Pathway programs are designed to help students successfully transition into U.S. degree programs. Through fully integrated programs, students study alongside American peers, earn academic credits toward their university degrees, and develop essential English language and academic skills.The institution also offers comprehensive student support services, including assistance with housing, student wellness, and arrival support, as well as numerous opportunities for social engagement. The INTO Illinois State Center, located on the Illinois State University campus, provides a welcoming environment with the resources needed for students to integrate into both university life and U.S. culture. The center serves as a learning community where students have access to academic resources such as the Learning Resource Center, test preparation classes, tutor support, and conversation partner programs. Through the INTO Illinois State Learning Resource Center, students receive academic support, practice sessions, and pathway tutoring to strengthen their English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
