ICMs Foundation Program (UTP Stage I) is an eight-month course bridging secondary school and university studies, consisting of eight courses designed to prepare students for entry into university-level programs. Upon successful completion, students can progress to International Year One (UTP Stage II), which is equivalent to the first year of a UM degree. ICM students benefit from small class sizes, regular access to instructors, and a supportive community of peers from over 80 countries. Studying in Winnipeg, one of Canadas most affordable cities, offers a rich and diverse cultural experience. Upon completing ICMs programs and meeting UMs transfer requirements, students are eligible to progress to the second year of their chosen undergraduate degree at UM.
