Junior School (Prep — Year 6)

The Junior School, located in a beautiful streetscape of restored Federation homes, is the setting for an education that is both nurturing and innovative. Each child is appreciated as an individual, and provided with carefully planned experiences that match her learning style and stage of development.
This is enhanced by a diverse range of innovative co-curricular programs, which present exciting opportunities for further exploration into individual pursuits. Our students embrace every opportunity to progress and try new things. This is because we ensure Ivanhoe Girls’ is a place where every student feels safe and confident to pursue her learning. Our students are given the scope to practise independent and critical thought, to make mistakes, and are encouraged to try again with confidence and tenacity. The individual support
each student is offered stems from our active and involved Student Wellbeing program, which underpins all we do.
