You’ll complete an independent study project focusing on a specific business theme or undertake a consultancy project, working on a ‘real’ project set by a local organisation.   Optional modules provide opportunities to explore the impact of technology on modern banking, cybersecurity and how technologies such as blockchain are shaking up traditional banking. Alternatively, you could concentrate on your professional expertise to boost your employability. Your second, year focuses on the core principles and practices in managing people, products and organisations in today’s business world including product development, supply chains, organisational behaviour and the impact of digital technologies. You will evaluate the relationship between economic events and financial statements and access Bloomberg terminals for practical experience in analysing financial performance, and gain essential knowledge of strategic accounting management, costing methods, and new accounting techniques. The culmination of the programme is an individual study project that you will design and complete on a topic that inspires you. This could focus on sustainability, digital innovation, leadership, entrepreneurship, or organisational change and you'll be fully supported by programme tutors.  If you’ve previously studied business at an international institution or further education college and meet our entry requirements, this integrated master’s allows you to ‘top-up’ that knowledge. By completing the required 240 credits you’ll gain the equivalent of a master’s degree when combined with your previous qualifications. Founded to meet the needs of a changing world, Keele has always had a pioneering vision to be a different kind of university. We excel in both teaching and research, with some of the most satisfied students in England, and research that is changing lives for the better at a regional, national and global level. Our beautiful 600-acre campus is one of the biggest in Britain – but all the most important services and facilities are on your doorstep, with accommodation, teaching spaces, facilities including a medical centre, sports centre and pharmacy, and a range of shops, eateries and entertainment venues – including the Students’ Union – clustered around the centre. We have compared the positivity ratings of all participating UK institutions using the NSS 2026 sector data to determine Keele's position relative to other broad-based universities (i.e. excluding specialist institutions and further education colleges).
