Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition (Coordinated Program)

Keiser University's Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition Coordinated Program (MSCN-CP) combines clinical evaluation, community concerns, and food service management into a profession long valued for its service to individuals and the community at large and focused on optimal nutrition and the prevention of chronic diseases. The MSCN-CP is unique since the didactic instruction is integrated with the supervised practice.

Students will enter the accredited program at one entry point which is admission to the MSCN-CP at one of the four campuses to include Lakeland, Melbourne, Pembroke Pines, and Port St. Lucie. Students complete the admission process under the direction of Admission Counselors. The program director/program coordinator is notified when new students enroll and will start academic advising and GPA monitoring immediately.

To be considered for admission to Keiser University all applicants must supply one of the following:

• Verification of high school graduation (transcript, diploma, etc.) or
• Verification of GED completion (GED scores or GED diploma) or
• Proof of graduation from a foreign institution comparable to a United States secondary school.

Applicants cannot be enrolled in the Program if they are only interested in completing the graduate degree portion of the curriculum. The MSCN-CP will not accept supervised practice hours from other programs. The Keiser University MSCN-CP will allow for qualified students who have previously earned a master’s degree in any discipline provided it is granted by a U.S. Department of Education accredited institution, or foreign equivalent. These students will be required to complete the undergraduate component of the program prior to transition into the master’s level courses and successfully complete only the eight-week supervised practice course in the master’s curriculum which is DIE 544 - Advanced Practice and participate in two weekend residencies.

TOEFL: A minimum score of 500 on a paper-based examination, 173 on a computer-based examination; or 61 on an internet-based score (iBT). Speaking English test scores is recommended. IELTS: A minimum IELTS score of 6.0. Speaking English test scores is recommended. DET (The Duolingo English Test): A minimum score of 95.
