Design spaces to bring people closer to nature. You'll reimagine cities and tackle our planet's environmental challenges on this landscape architecture degree.
From city parks and green streets to rural spaces, waterfronts, and urban places, landscape architecture shapes the way we experience and interact with the world outside. If you want a course where creativity meets purpose, this is it.
On this Landscape Architecture & Design degree, you'll be based in creative city-centre studios and dedicated landscape facilities. This is where your ideas become places that matter. Design the future
Landscape architecture looks beyond the visual. It's also about how spaces function. You'll explore how outdoor environments can improve lives, support nature, and respond to a changing planet. On this course, you'll learn to use design as a tool for positive impact.
Get ready to make an impact
By the time you graduate, you'll know the change your ideas can create, and where they could take you next. This course is accredited by the Landscape Institute, giving you a recognised route into the profession and a strong foundation for a career as a landscape architect.
Bring the outdoors to life
On this landscape architecture course, you'll dig into what makes places come alive. You'll create experiences, not just designs, and discover how smart ideas can tackle social, climate, and environmental challenges head on.
Learn by doing
You'll spend your time in our dynamic studios. Making. Testing. Refining. Through a combination of drawing, model-making, and digital tools, you'll bring ideas to life. You'll also use our dedicated Landscape Resource Centre to gain hands-on experience with plants, habitats, and ecological design - something many landscape design courses don't offer.
Collaborate like a professional
At Leeds School of Architecture, collaboration with your peers is key. You'll work alongside future architects, interior designers, and urban thinkers, just like professionals do in practice. Guest speakers, site visits, live projects, and exhibitions will provide insight into the industry and the chance to showcase your work.
