Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Psychology

The Monash Bachelor of Laws (Honours) satisfies the academic requirements for admission to practise as an Australian lawyer. The Monash Bachelor of Psychology provides a deep understanding of the human mind and covers the core sequence of units that are accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC). You gain the benefits of each degree and will be fully equipped to pursue a career in either field separately or combine them in your chosen work. In the Monash LLB (Hons), you’ll learn legal methodology and legal practice, public law (the powers, rights and responsibilities of the government and its citizens) and private law (the relationships and interactions between individuals and businesses). As you progress, you’ll customise your experience with specialist law electives and advanced skills by choosing from a broad range of law electives, including opportunities to study overseas, participate in mooting competitions, undertake work-based learning, or a final year project involving intensive research and writing on a topic of interest to you.
