New England Girls’ School (NEGS), founded in 1895, is an independent Anglican regional school located in Armidale, New South Wales. With a tradition of fostering academic excellence in a rural setting, it emphasises small class sizes to deliver personalised attention alongside wide-ranging co-curricular opportunities—equestrian, music, arts, sport—and strong boarding and student wellbeing programs. NEGS is guided by core values of excellence, integrity, responsibility and teamwork, and aims to cultivate confident, empathetic, resilient young people who feel supported within a close-knit community.
