A Level: AAA excluding General Studies. One science A Level is required, two are preferred. We include Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, and Mathematics as science A Levels. For Biology, Chemistry and Physics A Levels, we require a pass in the practical element .GCSE Mathematics, English (Language or Literature) and a science at minimum Grade B or 6 required.
IB: A minimum of 36 points, with three subjects at Higher Level grade 6 or above. At least two sciences at Higher Level are preferred. Mathematics or Mathematical Studies and English (Language or Literature) to be offered at Standard Level grade 5 if not offered at Higher Level. At least one third of all subjects taken must be science/mathematics.
Scottish: AAAAA at Higher Grade. One science Higher is required, two are preferred. We include Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, and Mathematics as science subjects.
Irish Leaving Certificate: H1H1H1H2H2 at Higher Level, including at least one subject with a substantial science or mathematics component including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. At least two sciences are preferred.
Access Qualifications: 45 level 3 credits at Distinction including 15 credits each in mathematics and/or quantitative methods, human biology and a third subject, preferably a science subject.
