Criminology with Law - BSc (Hons)

Crime does not have a simple solution. The laws that shape our responses to it, the institutions built to enforce them, and the communities living with the consequences are in constant, often contested, negotiation, and that tension is not going away. Criminology with Law BSc (Hons) at Northumbria puts you at the centre of those debates. You could develop the analytical tools to interrogate how legal systems really work, the critical thinking to question why some harms are criminalised and others are not, and the research skills to take a position and defend it with confidence. You would learn alongside academics contributing to live debates in criminal justice, socio-legal studies, and public policy, building the analytical confidence and professional credibility that sets you apart, alongside the kind of thinking that employers across the public, third, and justice sectors are looking for.
