Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Arts - Art and Technology

Build bridges between our digital and physical worlds. This is a program for innovators, to explore and gain creative mastery over digital systems and new technologies. Creative technology is a rapidly growing field that uses technology to enhance creative and artistic endeavors. Graduates know how to innovate with audio, visuals, coding, interactivereactive media, web-based experiences, electronics, VRMR, AI, and how to interface the digital and physical worlds. Use the knowledge and skills gained in this program as a springboard to invent the future. Students use interactive technology to explore ideas in projects that range from large-scale installations and interactive objects to virtualaugmented reality and data driven artworks. These artworks combine technology and traditional art media with video, animation, text, audio, and imagery that are controlled by sensors, data and programming. Courses include interactive media, coding for artists, interactive installation, physical computing, and a range of interactive studio courses. Recommended electives include courses in sculpture, history of new media, ARVR, artificial intelligence, electronic music, and special effects.

In addition to the same application materials as domestic applicants, international applicants must submit the following documentation: Translations: Documents not originally in English must be translated by a NACES certified translation service.English Language Proficiency: Applicants for whom English is not the primary or native language, must submit a proof of English proficiency. International applicants can also apply for an English Proficiency Waiver.
