Prepare to support all learners in kindergarten through sixth grade with a program that blends elementary and special education. Through a combination of coursework and hands-on field experiences, you develop deep content knowledge, master strategies for differentiated instruction and gain practical skills in designing individualized education programs and making evidence-based decisions. With an emphasis on critical thinking, data-driven decision-making and the broader impact of educational policies, you’ll graduate ready to create inclusive, dynamic classrooms where every student can thrive. Earn dual licensure in elementary education and special education (mild and intense intervention), equipping you to teach K–6 general education and support students with a wide range of learning needs. With the ability to collaborate across disciplines and adapt instruction to diverse settings, you’re prepared to make a meaningful impact from day one.
