Entry requirements for San Jose State University
U.S. bachelor\u2019s degree from a regionally accredited institution, or the completion of a 4-year bachelor\u2019s degree from a recognized, accredited, and approved institution from a country outside of the U.S. A 2.5 GPA (from the 0.0-4.0 U.S. grading scale) in the last degree completed or a 2.5 GPA in the last two years of full-time study.
English Language Proficiency: IELTS: 6.5; TOEFL \u2013 80 (IBT), paper based \u2013 550, Computer based \u2013 213; Pearson Test of English (PTE) \u2013 53. General test recommended for all applicants but required of those whose cumulative undergraduate GPA was below 3.0 (but above the university graduate-school minimum of 2.5).
