Saskatchewan Polytechnic's campus cities are Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Regina and Saskatoon. English is the language of instruction and examination at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. If a student's first or primary language is not English and/or their country is not exempt, they will need to provide evidence of their English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. These skills are required to be successful in a Saskatchewan Polytechnic program.
Students can develop their English language skills and prepare for their studies and life in Canada at Sask Polytech. Applicants may be conditionally waitlisted and/or conditionally accepted where proof of registration in an English language program is provided. Proof must include a specified date by which the individual is anticipated to meet the English language proficiency requirement. Regardless of a student's English level, they can start the process by selecting and applying for a program today.
Many Sask Polytech students benefit from transferring course credit. They may be eligible to transfer credit to Sask Polytech or to another college or university.
This allows students to gain credit towards their qualification at Sask Polytechnic for courses, modules or programs completed at another post-secondary or certified training institution. In order to transfer credit, students' previously completed courses should align closely with programs offered at Sask Polytech.
For previous credits from international institutions, students will need to verify their previous institution through completion of the international document assessment process.
Transferring credit does not incur any cost to the student. Students are encouraged to request a transfer of credit as soon as possible after being admitted to a course, before the course commences.

Co-ops are also a great way to earn money during a student's studies, allowing them to fund their course and make the most of their time in Canada.

Saskatchewan Polytechnic welcomes international students to learn in Saskatchewan. As a polytechnic, it offers a comprehensive suite of programming, including certificates, diplomas and degrees. Many programs have strong articulation agreements with universities across Canada, with grads often receiving two years of credit towards a degree.
International students are invited to review the list of programs and steps to attend Saskatchewan Polytechnic to apply for a seat and ensure they meet the admission requirements.
Program bundles are available exclusively to international applicants. These bundles or program packages combine 1-year certificates to make for a two-year term of study. This provides Sask Polytech international students with more options to obtain a post-graduate work permit (PGWP). This option allows students to secure their seat and receive an acceptance into both programs at the same time. The bundle option is only available at the time of application.
Students will pay a single application fee of CAD 150 for bundled programs. If they meet the admission requirements, Enrolment Services will send students a letter confirming their acceptance, start, and end dates for the duration of study.
