Business Management and Entrepreneurship (with Placement Year)

Build something of your own with a St Mary’s Business and Entrepreneurship degree The Business Management and Entrepreneurship BSc at St Mary's University London is designed for students who want to create something: a company, a product, a movement, a better way of doing things. You'll learn how to spot opportunities, test ideas, and turn them into real ventures, with a deep grounding in the fundamentals that make businesses actually work, like entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and strategy. You can also specialise in management consultancy or digital business, two of the fastest-moving areas in the modern economy. We also believe the best entrepreneurs build more than profitable companies. They build businesses to be proud of. That's why ethics and purpose run through everything we teach – not as a module to tick off, but as a way of thinking. You'll graduate ready to grow ventures that create real value for customers, communities, and the world your business operates in. The course is shaped by academics and working entrepreneurs who've built things themselves, so what you learn reflects how business is done now. It's built around the capabilities employers and investors look for: - Apply creative business thinking to real situations - Work confidently with AI, data, and digital platforms - Lead with strong ethical and professional standards Study business and entrepreneurship in London Our Business and Entrepreneurship degree is based at our Twickenham campus in the beautiful London borough of Richmond-upon-Thames, giving you access to the capital's diverse business hub. Located in South West London, we're close to large companies, some of which work with nearby Heathrow Airport. We also have relationships with small businesses and business incubators that support entrepreneurs. Gain dual accreditation During your Business Management and Entrepreneurship course, you can complete specific modules to achieve a Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership awarded by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) (subject to CMI moderation).
