Suffolk University's juris doctor program meets the educational requirements qualifying graduates to sit for the bar exam in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Students must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States, or an equivalent degree granted by an institution in another country (as determined by the Office of Graduate Admission).

Suffolk University Law School will accept scores from either the TOEFL or the IELTS for evaluation of English fluency. Applicants taking the TOEFL must submit a score of 600 paper format. 250 CBT format; or, 100 on the new iBT format; Applicants taking the IELTS exam must score 6.5 or higher.

Application Deadline: The priority deadline is April 1 for applicants seeking to start in May or August.
