University Academy 92 (UA92)

University Academy 92 (UA92) was founded by Gary Neville and the Class of 92, who were inspired by the teachings and leadership principles of Sir Alex Ferguson. Motivated by a desire to give back to the community and create greater opportunities for young people, they partnered with Lancaster University and a range of industry partners to establish a distinctive higher education institution. UA92 opened its doors in 2019 and has continued to develop its innovative approach to higher education. With teaching facilities across Old Trafford, the institution provides students with opportunities to make the most of their education while preparing them for life and professional success beyond graduation.

The academy is committed to equipping students with the tools, challenges, support, and confidence they need to realise their potential and achieve their ambitions. Alongside academic learning, students undertake a personal development journey designed to strengthen their abilities, build self-confidence, and prepare them for the demands of the professional world. UA92 believes that success extends beyond natural talent and good timing. Qualities such as tenacity, preparation, passion, and hard work are equally important in achieving excellence. By combining dedication, determination, inner drive, and effective preparation, students are encouraged to perform beyond their perceived limitations.
