Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology

The Mechanical Engineering Technology program at UA educates students about product testing, the design of products, and the machines required to manufacture them. Our students are recent high school graduates, transfers from other colleges and institutions, and individuals currently employed who are looking to advance their careers.

Our program: builds on the knowledge and skills developed during your associate degree studies, provides a comprehensive understanding of mathematical and scientific principles, features technical courses taught using engineering drawing and modeling tools as well as algebra, trigonometry and geometry.
Gain practical professional experience through UA's optional internship and co-op programs. Participation gives you firsthand, on-the-job training in the mechanical engineering field of your choice.

New Freshman

You are a high school student or have completed high school or equivalent and have never enrolled in a college/university. SAT or ACT is not required for standard admission or admission scholarship consideration for all types of applicants. An official SAT or ACT score is required to be considered for direct admission into your intended major.

All undergraduate international applicants must provide proof of English proficiency by meeting the minimum score from one of the following acceptable tests. This requirement can be waived if you meet certain criteria.
