University of Bath International Study Centre

The University of Bath International Study Centre provides pathway programmes designed to prepare international students for undergraduate and postgraduate study at the University of Bath. Its programmes focus on developing academic knowledge, English language proficiency, and essential study skills to help students prepare for higher education in the UK.Delivered by Study Group in collaboration with the University of Bath, the centre offers programmes including the International Foundation Year and Pre-Masters Programme. These pathways combine subject-specific modules with academic English and study skills development. Students who successfully complete their programme and meet the required progression criteria can progress to an eligible degree at the University of Bath.The International Study Centre is located on the University of Baths Claverton Down campus. Students can access campus facilities, including teaching and learning spaces, the university library, the Sports Training Village, cafés, restaurants, and shops. Access to certain facilities and services may be subject to additional charges or university policies.Student support is provided through dedicated staff and services designed to assist with academic progress, wellbeing, and adjustment to life in the UK. Students also benefit from opportunities to participate in induction activities and connect with other international students and the wider university community.The centre provides a free Student Assistance Programme in partnership with Health Assured and Howden Insurance. The programme includes access to the Wellbeing Connected service, which offers counsellor-led support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as well as a digital health hub featuring resources relating to mental wellbeing, sleep, fitness, and general health.Through its pathway programmes and student support services, the University of Bath International Study Centre provides an entry route for eligible international students preparing to continue their studies at the University of Bath.
