The University of Bath International Study Centre offers high-quality pathway programmes designed to prepare international students for degree study at the University of Bath. With a strong focus on academic preparation, English language development, and study skills, the centre provides a supportive starting point for students aiming to succeed at a top UK university.
Students study alongside other international learners on programmes developed in collaboration with the University of Bath. Through expert teaching, personalised support, and a learning environment tailored to international needs, students build the confidence, independence, and academic foundation required for university-level study.
Located directly on the University of Bath campus, the International Study Centre allows students to become part of the university community from day one. Students have full access to campus facilities, including modern teaching spaces, the 247 library, the Sports Training Village, as well as restaurants, cafés, shops, and social areas—creating a well-rounded student experience.
The centre is delivered by Study Group, a leading provider of international education programmes, ensuring high standards of teaching and student support.
Support is a key part of the student experience. Dedicated staff provide academic guidance, welfare support, and career advice throughout the programme. Students also benefit from a strong sense of community, learning alongside peers and receiving support from tutors, university staff, and fellow students.
Student wellbeing is a priority. The centre offers a free Student Assistance Programme (SAP), delivered in partnership with Health Assured and Howden Insurance. This includes 247 access to counsellor-led support through the “Wellbeing Connected” service, as well as a digital health hub with tools and resources to support mental health, fitness, and overall wellbeing.
