Applicants are typically required to achieve ABB at A Level with three A Levels in total, with General Studies not accepted. For the International Baccalaureate, a score of 32 points overall with 6,5,5 at Higher Level is expected. BTEC qualifications are considered, with accepted subjects for the BTEC Extended Diploma and Diploma including Children’s Play, Learning & Development, and Health & Social Care, while all subjects are considered for the Subsidiary Diploma when offered in combination with two A Levels. Typical offers include BTEC Extended Diploma DDD, A Level grade A plus DM in the BTEC Diploma, or AB at A Level plus D in the BTEC Subsidiary Diploma. T Levels are accepted across all subjects, with a standard offer of Distinction overall and a grade B in the Core Component. Applicants must also hold GCSE Mathematics and English at grade C or above, with a GCSE Science at grade C preferred, though it is essential for those intending to pursue a career in Primary teaching. Typical offer grades are provided as a guide and may vary depending on the subject combination, with the higher offer applied where requirements differ between combined subjects. Access to HE Diploma programmes are considered only in Social Sciences or Humanities. Applicants undertaking the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) will be made the standard offer, plus an alternative offer that is one grade lower alongside a grade A in the EPQ (e.g., ABB or BBB plus A in the EPQ).
