Applicants are expected to achieve AAA at A level, including Mathematics, while Further Mathematics and Physics are not required but may be advantageous. For the International Baccalaureate, 6,6,6 at Higher Level (including Mathematics) with 32 points overall is required, and a minimum of three A levels is necessary, with General Studies not accepted. BTEC qualifications are also accepted: the Extended Diploma requires D*D*D* plus a Distinction in Mathematics and Further Mathematics with the aptitude test; the Diploma with an A level requires D*D* plus grade A in A-level Mathematics and the aptitude test; and the Subsidiary Diploma with two A levels requires D* plus AA including Mathematics, along with successful completion of the aptitude test.
