You must hold 120 credits towards Masters study. If all of these credits are from the University of Birmingham, at least 90 must be at Level M and a maximum of 30 can be at Level H. If the credits are from another institution and awarded as part of a single postgraduate qualification (such as a PGDipEd or PGDE) that is recognised as a Masters-level award of 120 credits, at least 90 credits must be at Level M and no more than 30 at Level H. However, if your credits are all or partly from another institution and not part of a single award, then all 120 credits must be at Level M. In addition, you must provide a satisfactory reference from an academic and/or professional who can comment on your academic learning and/or professional practice in learning and teaching.
