Applicants studying one of the following BTEC Extended Diplomas will be considered without GCE A-Level requirements: Applied Psychology; Applied Science; Health and Social Care; Sport and Exercise Science; Sport Science; Pharmaceutical Science.
D*DD (with Professional Placement)
Applicants offering one of the above BTEC Extended Diplomas in lieu of the GCE A-Level Science will also be required to have a grade B or 5 in GCSE English Language and Mathematics.
GCSE:
B or 5; Grade B or 5 in Mathematics
C or 4; Grade C or 4 in English Language
Applicants who have achieved GCSE Maths one grade below the specified requirement will be considered. These applicants may be invited to complete the Maths Transition Course and receive a conditional offer on the basis of successful course completion.
Access to HE: 30 L3 credits at Distinction Grade and 15 L3 credits at Merit Grade; To include 15 L3 credits at Distinction Grade in an acceptable science subject area*
