Students can choose to refine a critical approach to creativity in areas such as writing, directing, and producing; or alternatively focus on creative technology in areas such as cinematography, editing, virtual production and sound. The course aims to develop students’ critical and research abilities in the discipline of film production. Core skills include: filming using digital camera equipment, workflow scheduling, project management, film distribution promotion via festivals and digital platforms, and practice-based research skills. Additional skills students can gain include: screenwriting, directing actors, cinematography, editing, sound design, and virtual production.
