The main intakes begin when most courses start in September, however, some courses have intakes in January and April.

The Faculty of Engineering & Science offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with an industry placement that enables students to gain invaluable skills and work experience.
Spanning across four departments, students can choose from a range of degrees across a vast selection of subjects. University accommodation is guaranteed for most students with a safe and secure environment. Accommodation is located within walking distance from campus and a student shuttle service is available for students across campuses.

Students who are under the age of 18 during their first year of study will be offered alternative housing options by the accommodation services team.
A central hub for students, the Dreadnought Building is home to the students' union. It boasts plenty of spaces to study and socialise, including gyms, cafes, and an events area in the basement.
Sport plays a big part in university life, and all campuses have fully equipped gyms. The Avery Hill campus also has a specialist sports centre with two floodlit all-weather sports pitches and a five-court sports hall.
Stockwell Street & Drill Hall Library
The University of Greenwich's two libraries are well stocked with books and learning resources. The Drill Hall library provides 400 computers, training rooms and several group study areas, while in-depth academic support – from essay writing to study skills – is provided by the academic skills team at the Stockwell Street library.
All three campuses have brilliant transport links. The intercampus bus services that run between Greenwich and Avery Hill are free, and there is a small fee between Medway Campus and the other sites.
Both Greenwich and Avery Hill campuses offer quick connections to central London via bus and train, and Medway Campus is just 45 minutes away by train.

Every year, the University of Greenwich's International Scholarship Award is awarded to the brightest and best international students in the form of a tuition fee reduction. Applicants need to be international students holding an offer for a full-time course paying the fees at the international rate. Scholarships up to GBP 3,000 are available.
New EU students will be supported by the EU Bursary in the form of tuition fee reduction for each year of study. Applicants need to be EU students holding an offer for a full-time course. The EU Bursary is available up to GBP 3,500 and applied automatically to all EU students' record.
