Human Geography - MGeog (Hons)

Human geography explores how people interact with places, environments, economies, and societies. From climate justice and urban development to migration, health inequalities, sustainability, and globalisation, it helps us understand some of the biggest challenges facing the world today. MGeog Human Geography at the University of Lincoln is a four-year integrated master's programme that combines undergraduate and master's-level study in one course. You'll develop a deep understanding of contemporary social and environmental issues while building advanced research, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills valued by employers across a wide range of sectors. At Lincoln, you'll study real-world challenges through fieldwork, research, interdisciplinary learning, and professional experience. You'll explore local and global issues, have the option to undertake fieldwork in the UK and overseas, and complete a substantial independent research project in your final year. Whether you're interested in shaping public policy, creating more sustainable communities, working in consultancy, planning, development, research, or progressing to further study, this course is designed to help you take the next step with confidence.
