All candidates must hold a Master of Arts in French Literature or the equivalent obtained with a minimum grade of 75% (B+). The candidate wishing to write a doctoral thesis in creative writing must have defended a master's thesis in creative writing, or the equivalent, or present a file attesting to the production of texts deemed equivalent to the master's thesis in French literature with a profile in creation.
