Economics Research (MPhil/PhD)

Build your research around topics such as resource economics and environmental policy, monetary policy, behavioural and experimental economics, efficiency and productivity, and the digital economy. Apply mathematical models and econometric methods to investigate complex economic questions and understand how economies respond to major shocks, for example the 2008 financial crisis. Follow research that has informed more effective monetary policy and improved regulation of natural resources, and make your own contribution to this work. Join an internationally recognised research environment, with 100% of research rated outstanding or very considerable impact (REF 2021).
