Business Management (Tourism and Events) (January) - BSc (Hons)

The Business Management (Tourism and Events) pathway combines the broad knowledge and career opportunities of a Business Management degree with specialist expertise in one of the world's most exciting and dynamic industries. You'll develop the business skills needed to lead successful organisations while exploring how destinations, attractions and events create memorable visitor experiences and drive economic growth. From festivals, conferences and sporting events to visitor attractions, hotels and tourism destinations, you'll examine how organisations respond to changing customer expectations, embrace digital innovation and deliver sustainable experiences. Through industry projects, live briefs and practical learning, you'll build expertise in destination management, event planning, visitor experience, marketing and stakeholder engagement, applying business theory to real challenges faced by the tourism and events sector. Graduates leave with the commercial awareness, leadership skills and sector knowledge to build successful careers across the visitor economy, whether that's managing events, developing destinations, leading attractions, working in hospitality or shaping the future of tourism. On successful completion of your studies, you will be awarded BSc (Hons) Business Management (Events and Tourism).
