Additionally, this programme allows you to gain a critical understanding of the theory and practices of accounting and financial management. All modules are designed to begin with a refresher of the basics before moving on to more advanced issues. You will learn how to: Use professional software tools to build income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts Explore the business strategies of an organisation Examine areas of financial management that help support business strategies, such as forecasting and working capital management Understand the philosophical and sociological context of business ethics and corporate social responsibility Analyse policies and practices in contemporary business organisations Carry out detailed research on business-related issues

We welcome UK and international students and consider all applicants on an individual basis, and to study a postgraduate programme with UWS London, applicants are expected to hold at least an ordinary degree from a UK institution or an equivalent qualification if studied outside of the UK, and will normally satisfy at least one of the following admission requirements: hold a degree awarded by an appropriate institution; have an appropriate professional qualification such as those from ACCA or CIMA; have passed a pre-masters or other foundation course; be a mature student with relevant work or professional experience (10 years) managerial or above; have completed an INTO Graduate Diploma in Banking Finance or Graduate Diploma in Business Administration; or hold qualifications such as DipHE, HND, or NVQ, which may be typical for applicants who have progressed through an organisation, perhaps beginning as an apprentice and advancing to a manager or supervisor role.
