Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours)

The Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) is a degree that follows on from the Bachelor of Computer Science, providing you with an opportunity to develop theoretical and practical skills gained during your undergraduate course. A subject in research methodology will allow students to develop advanced research skills specific to disciplines within computer science. You will also have the opportunity to exercise these skills in a research project on a topic of your interest. In addition, students will also complete three elective subjects including data mining, software engineering, artificial intelligence, computer security and others.

To qualify for entry into Honours, students must have qualified at this University for a Bachelor degree with an average of at least 75% across the major (or majors) in which the Honours degree will be undertaken with the additional requirement of a Distinction in two of the 300 level subjects required by the major.
