Pre-University Social Science - Child Studies

Students who complete a Social Science profile in Family, Child & Youth Studies will gain a deeper understanding of different aspects of a child’s and a teenager’s development through education, family relationships, and other social interactions. This profile is for students interested in working with children and youth, in the field of education or in other related domains.

The Social Science profile in Family, Child & Youth Studies prepares students to pursue university studies in any Social Science discipline such as anthropology, economics, sociology, geography, history, political science, psychology, as well, law, journalism, education, and social work. This profile is not a prerequisite for any specific university program.
