Advantage VT Master's Pathway (Level 1)

AdvantageVT-Master's is a pathway program for international students who want to earn master's level credits while improving their English and academic research skills. Students who meet all Virginia Tech graduate admission requirements to participating programs except the minimum language test scores may be eligible. This program is ideal for students who want to earn credits that will count toward their master's degree while improving their academic skills. Virginia Tech's AdvantageVT (AVT) programs for undergraduate and graduate international students combine intensive academic skills training and language training with credit-bearing coursework. AVT is open to students who meet degree program admission requirements except the minimum language test scores. The programs feature pre-admission to participating majors and guaranteed entry upon completion of program requirements.
