Interdisciplinary Studies with an Emphasis in Gender, Race and Sexuality (BA)

The Interdisciplinary Studies major with an Emphasis in Gender, Race and Sexuality prepares students to examine and address group-based forms of discrimination, exploitation and violence through an intersectional lens. Drawing on courses from across the humanities and social sciences, this emphasis develops the analytical, critical thinking and advocacy skills students need to pursue careers dedicated to solving vital social issues.
