General English Standard

The General English course at Wimbledon School of English is the school’s most popular programme and is designed to help students improve all areas of their English through a practical and communicative approach. The course develops grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, pronunciation, reading and writing, while also integrating key 21st Century Skills into everyday learning. Students study in international classes and practise real-life English through interactive lessons, role-plays, group discussions and pair work. Regular feedback and homework help students consolidate new language and make consistent progress. The course is available as a Standard programme (21 hours per week) or as an Intensive programme (24.5 hours per week), allowing students to choose the level of study that best suits their goals and schedule.
