Founded in 1842 by the Society of the Sacred Heart, Woldingham School is recognized as a pioneer in women’s education. The school provides a supportive and stimulating all-girls environment that helps students develop into independent women who contribute positively to society. Although it has a Catholic foundation, the school welcomes students of all faiths and none.
As part of the global network of Sacred Heart schools, Woldingham is guided by the five Sacred Heart goals: faith, community, intellect, social awareness, and personal growth. These principles shape a forward-thinking and caring community where students thrive both academically and personally.
The school is regarded as a happy and successful environment in which students grow into confident, compassionate, and courageous young women. Graduates leave Woldingham with strong academic results, values that support their future careers and personal lives, and lasting friendships.
