College of Engineering, Science and Environment
The college focuses on subjects in the fields of engineering, science and the environment. The college aims to equip students with the skills necessary to develop innovative solutions that have a positive impact on society. Industry practice is actively incorporated into the curricula of the college and programs covered include environmental science, development studies, architecture, data science, maths, and psychology. Newcastle (Callaghan)

Central Coast (Ourimbah)
An hour's drive from Sydney or Newcastle, the Ourimbah campus offers a range of study programs in a serene, natural setting, close to beaches and forests.
Central Coast (Gosford Hospital)
Situated at Gosford Hospital, the Central Coast Clinical School offers an immersive learning environment and strong local industry partnerships with the Central Coast Health District. The campus offers modern educational facilities and versatile teaching and learning spaces.
Central Coast (Gosford Central)
Our new world-class Mann Street building located just a short walk from Gosford train station. This modern facility provides contemporary learning spaces in the heart of the city centre for business, human resources, leadership and management, marketing, accountancy, education, humanities and social sciences students.
Sydney (City)
Located in the heart of Sydney's vibrant CBD, this campus offers cutting-edge postgraduate programs in IT, Business and Accounting. The city's cosmopolitan lifestyle and iconic landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge are just around the corner.

The scholarship is based on a fixed value for each year of study under a standard full-time study load (80 units) apportioned over each course taken.

University of Newcastle ranked 3rd in World for Climate Action
The University of Newcastle's strong commitment to sustainability has been recognised globally, with the university ranking third in the world for Climate Action in the 2026 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings.
The rankings, based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), benchmark how more than 2,300 universities worldwide are progressing toward the goals. Institutions can receive individual rankings for each of the 17 SDGs and an overall ranking, with the University of Newcastle's overall result placing it in the top 30 globally.
The University also ranked in the top 20 globally across seven categories, including 3rd for Life Below Water (SDG 14), 8th for Clean Water and Sanitation (SDG 6),12th for Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), and 14th for Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3).
