Founded in 1883, Auckland is the country’s largest university with over 40,000 students, nearly 10,000 graduates annually. As the country’s largest and most comprehensive university, the University of Auckland conducts teaching and research across eight faculties and two large-scale research institutes. A range of government, private and University-funded scholarships are available for international students.
