Attending IDP events provides access to valuable information, one-on-one consultations, and the opportunity to meet university representatives, making them essential for students considering studying abroad.

IDP hosts many different types of events, from local office seminars to large roadshows with many participating institutions and partners. When events are busy, time with dedicated counsellors or institutions can be limited, so we suggest coming prepared. 

1. Research in advance: Browse IDP.com to discover destinations, institutions, and courses you might be interested in. 

2. Prepare your questions: Write down the top five questions you’d like to get answers to from our expert IDP staff or partner institutions. This will help you achieve your goals on the day. 

3. Download our app: IDP Live App will guide you through your entire study abroad journey. It also holds important event information and your personal QR code for easy event check in.

There are three common documents you should have ready to get your application started.   

1. Passport  

2. English language test results  (IELTS, TOEFL...)

3. Academic transcripts  

The IDP Live app allows you to upload digital versions of these documents in advance, so you can have physical copies verified by a counsellor on the day of the event.  Many courses and institutions have specific entry requirements, and our counsellors will guide you through the process of completing and validating your application before submitting.
