The community has five main sections: Feeds, Groups, Find Friends, Inbox and Dreamwall.

Feeds

In Feeds, you’ll see stories, photos, videos and updates from students worldwide. You also get a chance to interact with content shared by our ambassadors. It’s a simple way to explore what life abroad really looks like and stay inspired throughout your journey.

Groups

Groups help you connect with people who share your goals, interests or destination.

There are three main categories:

Whether you’re choosing your destination, settling into a new country or celebrating a big milestone, you’ll find a group that fits. Whether it’s 3 am or 3 pm, you can find international students like you and IDP ambassadors sharing experiences, answering questions, and helping you understand what student life abroad really looks like.

Inbox

Once you join a group, another tab opens for you — Inbox. This is where you can find all the groups you have joined. This makes it easier to follow conversations, revisit helpful chats and stay connected without scrolling through endless threads.

Find Friends

One of the most exciting features is ‘Find Friends’ — a simple way to meet people before you even arrive in your study destination.

It’s not just a long list of profiles where you need to read everyone’s bio to find people like you. You can filter by:

• Country or region

• Subject area

• Interests

Just choose your preferred subject, select your interests such as coffee, travel, gaming, or music, and pick the country where you want to connect with students. You can then discover other students and IDP ambassadors who share similar interests and experiences.

Dreamwall

Dreamwall is your personal inspiration space. Save posts from Feeds that motivate you — whether it’s study tips, travel ideas, helpful hacks or moments that make you smile.

Over time, it becomes a reflection of your study abroad journey and everything that keeps you moving forward.

IDP ambassadors are volunteer students who’ve experiencedstudying abroad themselves and now are helping others like you understand what it’s really like. They share their real stories about how they chose their courses, adjusted to a new culture and built their lives as international students.

You can reach out to them anytime. They’re here to answer questions, offer guidance and help you feel more confident at every stage of your journey.
