I.  Entry Standards

This considers the grades of students who are likely to get enrolled in their department of study. It’s not the eligibility criteria to get enrolled in the desired course but is designed for prospective students to get a fair idea of the average grades required to join the department of the university.

II.  Student
Staff Ratio Another factor considered is the staff engagement that a student can expect while pursuing their course. This is calculated by dividing the total number of students taking modules in a subject by the number of staff members available to teach the same. A lower ratio indicates a higher number of teachers available per student, which implies a better quality of education.

III.  Expenditure per Student
This parameter considers the academic resources available per student enrolled in a particular department. The total expenditure in each subject area is divided by the total number of students studying that particular subject.

IV.  Continuation
This indicator evaluates the support provided by the university to students who drop out in the middle of a degree course but wish to continue their studies at a later stage.

V.  Student Satisfaction
This is ascertained based on three sub-factors:

• Teaching Quality

• Student Feedback

• Overall Satisfaction

VI.  Value-Added Scores
This considers the initiatives of every department at the university to assist its students in securing good grades.

VII.  Career prospects
This accounts for post-university employment or further education opportunities offered by the university. The number of students who get graduate-level employment in professional, managerial, or technical fields and those who opt for higher education is used to calculate this score.
