This document sets out the terms applicable to your participation in the IDP and Flywire “Fly Higher Award” (the promotion). By submitting an entry or otherwise participating in the Promotion, you agree to comply with these terms, any applicable country-specific Terms, and any reasonable directions given by the Promoter regarding the Promotion. Please ensure you’ve read and understood the terms before entering.

1. Who is eligible to enter the promotion?

To be eligible for the Promotion, you must meet the following criteria:

  • have made 2 eligible payments as outlined under the payment eligibility terms under 4 (a) and (b) and submitted a qualifying testimonial as outlined under term 4 (c)

  • be a resident of a participating country or territory

  • be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your participating country or territory

  • be a registered student with any IDP Education entity in the country where the offer is being promoted ("IDP Registered Students").

  • meet all requirements outlined in these Terms.

2. Who is not eligible to participate?

The Promotion is not open to any entrant who:

  • does not meet the eligibility criteria above or within these terms and conditions

  • is an employee, contractor, agent or suppliers of the Promoter or their immediate family members.

  • entries received from ineligible entrants will be deemed to be invalid

3. How long will the promotion run?

The promotion will run between 12.01am (AEDT) on 01st May 2025 and 11.59pm (AEDT) on 31st July 2025 (Promotion Period)

Entries received outside of the Promotion Period will be deemed to be invalid.

4. How do I enter the promotion?

Participants may enter the promotion by:

  1. making eligible payments

  2. submit details and relevant Flywire Payment IDs

  3. submit a testimonial entry

a) Eligible Payments

  • you must make a minimum of two (2) eligible payments via the IDP Flywire Platform during the Promotion Period.

  • payments made can be for any study destination and must be for one or more of the following:

    1. tuition payments (e.g., full year or semester tuition)

    2. accommodation - for IDP accommodation partners that offer payment options via Flywire

    3. health insurance premiums - for IDP OSHC partners that offer payment options via Flywire

    4. bank account funding - For IDP banking partners that offer payment options via Flywire

  • payments must involve a foreign exchange transaction (i.e., payments between different currencies). Payments made between the same currency will not be eligible.

b) Payment Requirements

  • payments must be made via IDP Flywire Platform accessible via idp.com

  • payments must be made between the promotion dates of 01st May 2025 and 31st July 2025

  • each payment must be for the minimum amount for eligibility of $1,000 USD (or the equivalent amount in any other currency).

c) Entry Submission

  • to enter the Promotion, you must submit your details and relevant Flywire Payment IDs via the IDP and Flywire Fly Higher Award Entry Form, available at IDP Fly Higher Award Entry Form

  • you must submit either written or video testimonial that details how receiving this award will support and or make a difference to your education journey.

  • you must also provide either a written or video testimonial about your payment experience with IDP and Flywire.

  • written submissions must be 100 words or less, and videos must be less than 30 seconds.

  • all entries must be submitted by no later than 31st July 2025. Failure to submit the required details by the deadline will result in disqualification from the Promotion.

  • multiple entries are accepted where the Flywire payment IDs are unique and not duplicated with any other entry.

  • an applicant can only win 1 award.

5. What are the prize details?

  • there are a total of 50 x $3,000 (USD) prizes available across all Participating Countries and territories. The approximate retail value of the prize pool is USD$150,000.

  • there is no guarantee of a prize allocation for each Participating Country or Territory. The actual value of the prize may vary depending on the currency the prize is distributed in and exchange rate at the time of prize distribution. The exchange rate will be determined by the Promoter using a reputable financial source.

  • the prize is not transferable and cannot be substituted or exchanged for any other form of payment, except the Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes of comparable value if a prize listed is unlawful or unavailable for any reason.

  • the Promoter accepts no liability regarding the prize. In some cases, prizes may be subject to taxation requirements or additional fees in the Participating Country and territory. Prize winners are solely responsible for all taxes and fees associated with their receipt or use of the prize and where applicable, the prize will not be provided until the winner notifies the Promoter that it has paid all applicable taxes.

  • your odds of winning will depend on the total number of prizes available, and eligible entries received, in your Participating Country or territory during the Promotion Period.

6. How will Award Entries be judged?

  • on the first business day post the promotion end date, each entry in this Promotion will be assessed for shortlisting by a panel of judges within the Promoter, with short-listed entries assessed for final decision by a panel of judges within Promoter.

  • the judges will evaluate each entry based on three (3) criteria:

    1. 2 or more eligible payments via Flywire using the correct IDP link

    2. Most inspirational response to the use of the funds to support the student’s education journey.

    3. Most insightful response to the student’s payment experience with IDP and Flywire

  • for each criterion, entries will receive a score between one (1) and ten (10), with ten (10) being the highest possible score. The total possible score for each entry is thirty (30), with each of the three (3) criteria contributing up to ten (10) points to the total score.

  • the entries with the highest total scores up to the set number of possible winners across each Participating Country or territory will be deemed the winners. In the event of a tie, the tied entries will be re-evaluated by the judges until the winners are determined.

  • the judges’ decisions are final and binding within the Participating Countries. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the judging process or any outcomes reached.

7. How and when will the winners be notified?

  • the winners will be notified by email or other means of communication elected as part of the Promotion entry form within 30 days after the competition end date.

  • the Winners must respond to the Promoter with their elected account details for the deposit of the Award prize.

  • award prizes will be deposited into the winner’s nominated bank account within 10 business days after confirmation of details.

  • if a Winner does not respond to the promoter after 5 attempts all of which are 1 week apart, the winner will be deemed disqualified and a redraw for that prize will occur.

8. Publication of Winning Entries

Upon entry to this promotion, you agree to:

  • grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use and publish your name and entry on the Promoter and Partner (Flywire) social media channels and other promotional platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, What’s App, WeChat, TikTok and the Promoter’s website.

  • allow the Promoter to use your name, likeness, and any other personal information provided in connection with the Promotion for promotional purposes; and

  • participate in any surveys and other promotional activities related to the Promotion required by the Promoter, which may include being interviewed, filmed, or photographed.

9. What are the rights of IDP?

IDP’s decision on all matters pertaining to this Promotion will be final.

IDP reserves the right to:

  • verify the validity of each entry

  • disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of IDP, is unlawful, inappropriate, insulting, inflammatory, defamatory, incomplete, ambiguous, fraudulent, misleading, deceptive, damages the goodwill or reputation of the IDP, or is not in accordance with these terms.

  • this Promotion is subject to availability and is not transferable, redeemable for cash, or exchangeable for any other prize.

  • IDP reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions as well as amend, suspend, or cancel the Promotion at any time without notice.

10. How does IDP handle my personal information?

IDP will handle your personal information in accordance with the IDP’s Group Privacy Policy (https://www.idp.com/australia/privacy-policy/) and applicable data protection laws.

IDP collects personal information from you to conduct the Promotion, determine eligibility, notify winners, distribute the prizes, and for marketing purposes relating to the Promotion and winning entries. IDP may disclose your personal information to third party services providers for these purposes.

It is a condition of this Promotion that the winner read and agree to the IDP’s Group Privacy Policy. By entering the promotion, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information for the purposes outlined in these terms and acknowledge that your personal information will be transferred and processed in accordance with the IDP’s Group Privacy Policy.

As the Promotion is global, please be aware that any personal information you provide may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of your country or territory of residence, including but not limited to Australia and other Participating Countries, each of which may have different data protection laws than your country or territory of residence.

11. Deed of Consent

By accepting the terms and conditions and submitting my entry to the competition I consent to a grant to the following entities and those individuals acting with the authority of the below-mentioned entity:

IDP Education Limited (ACN 117 676 463), 535 Bourke Street, Melbourne, Vic 3000 (collectively “IDP”)

1) with respect to written or oral stories, descriptions, comments or responses made by me, and

2) photographs, film, video, tape or capture of any image or likeness taken of me by or on behalf of IDP (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Testimonials”), the unrestricted, royalty-free, non revocable, assignable, worldwide and perpetual licence and right to:

a. Reproduce, adapt, modify, create derivatives in whole or in part, or otherwise use the stories or any part thereof in combination with or as a composite of text, data, images, photographs, video or audio segments, in any media or embodiment including, but not limited to, all formats of computer readable electronic, magnetic, digital, laser or optical- based media (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Works”) for public awareness, media campaigns or for any purpose whatsoever;

b. Use and permit to be used my name, whether in original or modified form, in connection with the Works, as IDP (or any of them) may choose; and

c. Display, exhibit, publish, distribute, transmit or broadcast or otherwise exploit the Works by any means now known or hereafter to become known.

d. I hereby waive all rights (now and in perpetuity) and release and discharge IDP from, and shall neither sue nor bring any proceeding against any such parties for any claim, demand or cause of action whether now or hereafter known or unknown, for defamation, breach of intellectual property rights (including breach of moral rights under the Copyright Act 1968), invasion of right to privacy, publicity or personality or any similar matter, or based upon or relating to the use and exploitation of the Testimonials and/or Works. I acknowledge that I have waived and relinquished all rights (including copyright) to the Testimonials and/or the Works.

e. I agree that there shall be no obligation to utilise the authorisation granted by me hereunder. The terms of this licence and authorisation shall commence on the date hereof and be without limitation. I warrant and represent that I am a competent person over the age of 18 years, properly apprised of the consequences of my consent and that I am free to enter into this agreement.

f. I acknowledge that if I choose to reverse my consent to the use of my name or any other details I can do so via contacting IDP via privacyofficer@idp.com

12. How do I Contact IDP?

For any queries concerning the conduct of this Promotion, or about claiming a prize, please contact your local IDP office for your Participating Country or territory.

13. Liability

  • IDP and Flywire are not responsible for any technical issues or failures, including those that may result in the non-receipt or delay of the entry form, or any issues preventing the successful submission of a payment.

  • by participating in this Promotion, the Participant agrees to release and hold harmless IDP, Flywire, and their respective affiliates, employees, and agents from any liability arising out of or in connection with the Promotion to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

  • to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IDP and Flywire will not be liable for any damage, loss or theft of the Award prizes during transit to the winner or at any point after the winner receives the Award prize.

  • IDP and Flywire shall not be liable to the extent that it is delayed in or prevented from providing the award funds to the winner due to any event that is beyond IDP and Flywire’s reasonable control including but not limited to: power failure, internet service provider failure, industrial action, civil unrest, theft, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemic or pandemic, governmental action or any other event that is beyond the control of the party in question (a “Force Majeure Event”).

14. Governing Law

These Terms are intended to comply with the laws and regulations of the Participating Countries and territories in which the Promotion is offered. If any provision of these terms is inconsistent with laws, regulations or requirements applicable to the Promotion in a Participating Country or territory (the Country-Specific Terms), the Country-Specific Terms will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency in that Participating Country and territory.

By entering the IDP Education Ltd Flywire Marketing Promotion, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
