    So in order to earn some pocket money, it is very common for international students to take on a part time job in Australia. International students in Australia are permitted to work up to 40 hours per fortnight. Now, your pay or your pay rate depends on your experience, position and the industry you're in.

    Hey, if you're a student in Deakin college and you're on an international student visa, you can work up to 40 hours per fortnight while your classes are in session. And between trimesters, you can work unlimited number of hours. So a lot of our students choose to work in industries like hospitality or retail just for some extra pocket money while their studying.
