President's Award

The President's Award is an entrance scholarship valued at CAN $2,500 for international students entering their first year of study at Algoma University. To qualify, candidates must be studying on a full-time basis (24-30 credits over two consecutive terms of study). Registrations in course loads less than 30 credits but greater than or equal to 24 credits will be prorated. Students must complete all their qualifying requirements in the academic year prior to commencing studies in any program of study at Algoma University.

International students studying in an Ontario secondary school and meeting the OSSD requirements must achieve 80-89.9 percent on their top 6 grade 12 U/M courses presented for admission.
