This is an annual competition run by BPP in conjunction with participating undergraduate Bar and Law Societies, the final of which is held at the Old Bailey.
To apply, you must meet all the minimum criteria set out in the terms and conditions, including:
- You must apply for a scholarship by the relevant deadline
- You must have achieved a minimum of a 2:1 undergraduate degree or equivalent (or 2:2 with evidence of mitigating circumstances, reviewed on a case-by-case basis)
- You must not hold full fee sponsorship from elsewhere (e.g. an employer or one of the Inns of Court)
- Scholarships are only available to new students enrolling onto a course and are not applicable for those who are already studying
- A student may not hold more than one scholarship. If awarded more than one, the higher value scholarship will prevail. However, eligible students can still be considered for a higher value scholarship if they do not have full fees covered by other scholarships or bursaries
- Recipients of master's funding (e.g. from Student Finance England) are eligible to apply for a scholarship.
