Who is this for?
This is available to undergraduate students who:
- have been in receipt of free school meals
- have been in care as a care experienced child (care leaver)
- have declared to the University a disability
- is from a black or minority ethnic group
- is currently under the age of 21
- is from a gypsy and traveller community
- is a child from a military family
- term-time address is the same as the permanent home address.
What do you get?
You will receive financial help with travel costs to events, work-related experiences, and self-found placements that will help with career development:
- Up to £300 each year for travel within the UK
- Up to £500 each year for travel abroad.
Please be aware that this bursary is not to be used to cover course-related costs.
